Persons of Interest
- Traevus: Describes himself as a merchant heading home to Hammerfast. Was ambushed and bemoaned his situation, gaining the attention of the players at the bar. Claims to have had a valuable family heirloom stolen. Kriv doesn’t seem to trust him.
- Malareth (NPC formerly known as “The rider”, other known aliases: dead): Ambushed Traevus with his goblins and stole the mysterious box. Raised dead, experimented on bodies. Not a nice fellow.
- Faralax: A white dragon in Malareth’s dungeon. Kind of chilly personality and environment. Did not like Malareth, thought he stank of death. Dragons have large, sensitive noses you know. Promised to maybe give the heroes goodies if they made his home not stink anymore. Maybe.
Persons of Lesser or Past Interest
- Fasil: Helped out the players when they were ambushed at the cross roads. Led the players to the cave and reluctantly agreed to enter with them and continue helping, but will flee at overwhelming odds. Convinced Kriv he wasn’t Malareth. Still doesn’t like Kriv. Returned to town to sulk at being useless. And to not die.
- Moderately good at fighting goblins and getting through the woods. Not so good with undead.
- The unnamed doppleganger: Signed up to guard Malareth for 50gold. Never saw a dime of it and pretended to be a Zombie to avoid notice. Who’s going to notice one more zombie?
- May be a guy. May be a girl. First encounter with the group was with Valenor so may have been confused.
